OPENING TIP:
CSUMB hosts Bethany University in their home opener on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008.  On Friday, the Otters begin their CCAA conference play against Chico State, followed by a match-up against Cal State Stanislaus on Saturday.

LOOKING AHEAD:
The Otters compete in one final game before the New Year, hosting William Jessup University on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 5:30 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BRUINS:
Bethany's (1-5) lone victory this season was against UC Santa Cruz, 58-52, on Nov. 18.  Leading scorers for the Bruins are junior Kayla Lynch (15.2 ppg) and senior Rosie Brown (11.8 ppg.)

LAST GAME RECAP:
The Cal State Monterey Bay women's basketball team improved to 3-1 on the year as they held on to a 72-64 victory against the Academy of Art Urban Knights in their final game of the Cal State Stanislaus Thanksgiving Classic at the Warrior Arena on Saturday, Nov. 29. Junior #Denelle Baker# scored a team-high 14 points on 4-for-6 from three-point range.  Senior #Dana Andrews# led all rebounders with nine boards on top of her 13 points and three steals.

RECORD WATCH:
Senior #Dana Andrews# is about to add another career record to her achievements after her 1,000 point milestone accomplishment on Nov. 15 against University of Mary. Andrews is 15 steals shy of current record holder Alma Lopez's 116.
