POMONA, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Cal Poly Pomona on Friday afternoon at Kellogg Field. The Otters fall to 1-10-1 (0-7 CCAA) as the Broncos improved to 6-3-2 (3-3-1 CCAA).
The Broncos jumped on the board three minutes into the game when Britany Garrett scored her eighth goal of the season.
Fifteen minutes later, Cal Poly Pomona added to their lead when junior Andrea Slaerno broke free on a loose ball and sent it high over freshman goalkeeper #Megan Kwasnicki#. Senior Pamela Leyva finished the scoring for the Broncos when she scored at the 53:28 mark.
Juniors #Alyssa Matheson# and #Brenna Noguez# each had a shot on goal for CSUMB.
The Otters continue their road trip on Sunday, Oct. 5 as they take on Cal State San Bernardino. Kick-off is at 2 p.m.
