TURLOCK, Calif. – Junior #Nathan Torricelli#'s third goal of the season completed Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team to their first California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) sweep over Cal State Stanislaus. The Otters defeated the Warriors 1-0 this afternoon at the Turlock Regional Sports Complex.
The Otters improve to 3-9-4 overall and 3-6-3 in CCAA play.
Torricelli slammed home a throw-in from freshman #Dylan Niven# with his left foot in the 41st minute.
CSUMB scored on their only shot on goal as the Otters were outshot 17-8 by the Warriors.
The Otters host No. 17 Sonoma State on Friday, Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. On Sept. 19, CSUMB held the Seawolves to a 2-2 double overtime tie in Rohnert Park, Calif.
