CHICO, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team saw their first California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Conference victory disappear in a double overtime 2-1 loss to Chico State yesterday at University Soccer Stadium.

The Otters fell to 1-15-1 overall and 0-11-0 in CCAA action.

CSUMB held a 1-0 lead on senior #Kelsey Poulsen#'s goal in the 36th minute.  Bennett headed the ball to the near corner on a cross by junior #Krysta Vukas#. This was Bennett's first goal of the season.

The Wildcats tied the game less than five minutes later when Jaclyn Thomas scored on a pass by Kasey Wall.

The winning goal came five minutes into the second overtime.  Wall scored her first collegiate goal on a rebounded shot by Thomas. 

CSUMB was outshot by the Cougars, 20-6.

The Otters will wrap up their road campaign on Sunday against Cal State Stanislaus at 11:30 a.m.
