SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell 1-0 today to UC Santa Cruz in their final non-conference game of the season.
The Otters fell to 1-14-1 as the Cougars improved to 7-5-1.
In the 29th minute, junior Karli Cowman scored the lone goal of the game to give the Banana Slugs the victory.
CSUMB's freshman goalkeeper #Stephanie Husted# collected eight saves.
The Otters return to CCAA play on Friday, Oct. 17 as they take on Chico State. Kick-off is at 7 p.m.
