SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay women's soccer team fell 2-1 to Cal State L. A. on Friday afternoon at the Otter Soccer Complex.
The Golden Eagles got on the scoreboard at the 37-minute mark when senior Christine Duff scored on a free kick.
Freshman Gabbi Segall gave CSULA a 2-0 lead on a pass by Perla Ramirez in the 64th minute.
Junior #Alyssa Matheson# prevented a shutout when she scored on a free kick at the 86th minute.
CSUMB outshot the Golden Eagles 12-8.
The Otters play their final non-conference game on Sunday when they take on UC Santa Cruz. Kick-off is at 11:30 a.m.
