SEASIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Monterey Bay men's soccer team battled No. 4 Cal State L. A. to a 0-0 tie in regulation before falling 1-0 in overtime on Friday at the Otter Soccer Complex.
Junior David Mora scored the winning goal just four minutes into overtime to give the Golden Eagles the victory. Junior Federico Cino was rewarded the assist.
CSULA outshot the Otters, 19-5.
CSUMB's goalkeeper #Brenden Baca# recorded a season-high eight saves.
The Otters take a break from conference when they host Cal State San Marcos on Sunday. Kick-off is at 2 p.m.
