SEASIDE --- The Lady Otters were outscored 47-22 in the second half Friday night as they fell to the CSU Dominguez Hills Toros 71-55.
SEASIDE --- Cal State Monterey Bay led 32-24 at the half, but were outrebounded 18-9 in the second half. The Toros Ernisha Kyles had 10 boards to lead her team. Point guard #Alma Lopez# led the Otters in rebounding with 7.
CSUMB held the Toros in check early. But Brigayle Iglehart and Whitney Gantt both had big second halves. Iglehart finished with 15 and scored nine after the break. Gantt scored all 12 of her points in the second half.
#Dana Andrews# led the Otters in scoring with 16 and Lopez scored 10 and made four assists. #Brittany Kukuchi# chipped in with seven points and #Britnea Moore# had eight.
With the loss CSUMB falls to 2-13 overall and 1-7 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. CSUDH improved to 9-6 and 3-5.
