Getting to Know Lauren Acker...

I chose to play at CSUMB because: I chose to play at CSUMB because it has amazing people and it’s a beautiful place to live.
My earliest soccer memory is: Meeting my P.E. teacher’s daughter who came to class to teach us about soccer. I was amazed at what she could do and loved my teacher. I still am friends with them both today. They are one of the reasons that I play soccer.
My best non-athletic talent is: Writing short stories
My most embarrassing sports memory is: If you know me you know that I have too many. One of the top moments would be getting stuck in the net during a game while trying to grab the ball. I flipped upside down and couldn’t get myself out.
Three words that describe me are: Never giving up!
ESPN or MTV: ESPN
One moment in history I wish I could have seen is: Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech “I Have a Dream”
