Biography
As a Redshirt Sophomore in 2012: Earned CCAA All-Academic honors with a 3.46 GPA…came off the bench for 15 games…scored CSUMB’s first goal of the season in the 3-1 victory over Academy of Art (8/30)…had one assist, on Korie Soares goal in the 68th minute against Cal State Stanislaus (10/5).
As a Redshirt Freshman in 2011: Became one of the Otters’ most reliable reserves as a redshirt freshman, appearing in all 17 matches and making four starts…started the first three matches of her collegiate career…played a season–high 64 minutes in the home opener versus San Francisco State (Sept. 9)…took 11 shots, putting four on frame.
As a Freshman in 2010: Medical redshirt season
High School: Earned honorable mention All–Diablo Valley League honors as a freshman and sophomore. Before vaulting up to first team honors as a senior…also competed in track and field all four years, earning second team All–DVL recognition as a sprinter in 2010…a high school soccer teammate of Otter junior Shoshana Wangerin.
Personal: Majoring in human communications…plans to travel after graduation…the daughter of Larry and Annie Piol…has three brothers; Kevin, Ryan, James, and a sister, Kaitlyn.
