CSU Monterey Bay Athletics

As a Junior in 2014: Started in 15 of 16 games in her third season... attempted five shots... part of a solid back line that allowed 1.49 goals per game... played at least 90 minutes in 13 games... accumilated 1365 minutes played.

As a Sophomore in 2013: Started in all 18 games…took a shot in four of the final five games of the season.

As a Freshman in 2012: Earned CCAA All-Academic honors with a 3.78 GPA…started in 12 of the 15 games she appeared…made her first collegiate start in the 2-1 victory over No. 14 Chico State (9/14). 

High School: Joins the Otter backline after playing four seasons of varsity soccer at Notre Dame Academy in Los Angeles…helped lead the Regals to a pair of Sunshine League titles, four CIF Southern Section Division IV tournament bids and the 2010 CIF Division IV title…was a two–time All–Sunshine League selection…also lettered in cross country and track & field at Notre Dame.

Personal: Will major in kinesiology at CSUMB…plans a career in physical therapy…played her club soccer with the South Bay Force…is a member of the California Scholarship Federation…served on Notre Dame’s student council for four years…involved in several community service efforts, including City Year, St. Jerome Parrish and Blessed Sacrament School…parents are Steve and Myrna Gaardsmoe.
