Nathan Kronewetter

Kronewetter bring 17 years of coaching experience with him to CSUMB, including a four year stint as the Men's Assistant Soccer Coach at Division I Bryant University in Rhode Island. His coaching footprint stretches internationally as well, spending five years as a Guest Coach and Guest Observer in Argentina.

"I am excited to announce the hiring of our new Assistant Coach, Nathan Kronewetter," says Reinke. "He comes to us with 20 years of collegiate coaching experience. I expect him to make an immediate, positive impact on our program. He will be responsible for the development of our midfielders and forwards, recruiting, and camps."

Not only does Kronewetter bring a deep coaching history, but also an extensive developmental history. Kronewetter coached on Premier Club and Olympic teams from 2009-2014, cementing his knowledge of the game and building young players to be top tier athletes.

Kronewetter spent his collegiate playing career at Hope College where he was an All–MIAA player and helped his team to three MIAA Conference Championships and two NCAA Tournament Elite Eight appearances as a four year starter. After his collegiate playing career, Kronewetter took his talents to the formerly named United Systems of Indepent Soccer Leagues (now United Soccer Leagues) and played for the Grand Rapids Explosion for two years. From 2002-2003 he played internationally in Argentina for Independiente Tandil and Grupo Universitario.

"I am extremely excited about my new position at CSUMB," says Kronewetter. "MB is a special place and the surrounding are is beautiful. The University has a vision of expansion and offers the student-athletes great options for educations and growth."
