Jessica Benedetti


Jessica Benedetti, a long-time member of the Otter Athletics family, joined the CSUMB sports medicine staff in a fulltime capacity in July of 2021. She had been on the CSUMB staff in a parttime role as an Otter strength and conditioning coach while also serving as the head athletic trainer at Palma High School.

While pursuing her undergraduate studies at CSUMB (kinesiology, ’13), Benedetti worked as a student assistant trainer while also serving as a photographer for the media relations office. She took on a postgraduate role with Otter Athletics in 2016 after earning her master’s degree in athletic training from Weber State University. 

While Weber State, Benedetti served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Wildcat women’s tennis team and assisted other coaches with program design for the softball and track and field programs.

Benedetti is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Additionally, she is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) from the Board of Certification and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
