Biography
As a Junior in 2011: Graduated from reserve to part–time starter as a junior, making five starts among her 12 appearances…started the final three matches, playing all 90 minutes in each of those appearances…lone shot of the season came against Humboldt State (Oct. 16).
As a Sophomore in 2010: Served as a reserve midfielder for the second consecutive, appearing in 13 matches as a sophomore…took two shots last season, both on the road: at Cal State L.A. (Sept. 19) and at Chico State (Oct. 25).
As a Freshman in 2009: Played in 15 matches and started six…took six shots, with her first career shot against Western Washington (Sept. 30).
High School: Helped lead the Islanders of Coronado High School to the 2009 Western League title and the 2008 CIF San Diego Section Division III title…registered five points as a senior and three as a junior…named freshman Rookie–of–the–Year…played club soccer for Surf Soccer and Nomads Soccer Club, the latter under the direction of UC San Diego Head Coach Brian McManus…also played volleyball in high school.
Personal: Majoring in international business with a minor in Spanish…was a four–time all–academic selection at Coronado…daughter of Joe and Laura Spamer…has a younger sister, Krista.
