Amanda appeared in nine matches in a reserve roll as a freshman...recorded her first career assist at Humboldt State (Sept. 25).
High School
Amanda was a four–year varsity starter at Manteca High School...All–Valley Oak League Honorable Mention selection during junior year...team captain as a senior...played for the Manteca Rangers...led the team to a Santa Clara Rotary Cup Championship in 2006.
Personal
Amanda is majoring in psychology…was a four–year member of the honor roll in high school…daughter of Brian and Emily Porter...has an older brother, Nathen.
Getting to Know Amanda Porter...
I chose to play at CSUMB because: I was interested in what the school and the soccer program had to offer.
My earliest soccer memory is: The earliest memory I have is skipping across the field throughout one of my first games because I didn’t feel like running. My parents never let me live that down.
My best non-athletic talent is: Baking
In 10 years I will be: Making a lot of money at an awesome job and I will be helping my kids learn how to run around and kick a soccer ball.
My favorite food is: Big stacks of pancakes
The person I admire most is: My grandmother, Helga Porter
If I could be any animal, I’d be a: Squirrel because they’re so cute and fluffy!
