Biography
2016–17 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Tara Moore did not compete in cross country in 2016 but did run for the Otter track team in 2017…posted a season–best 2:39.04 in the 800 meters at San Francisco State Distance Carnival (Apr. 1)…season–best 1:08.89 in the 400 meters at the Kim Duyst Invitational (Mar. 4)…ran anchor league on CSUMB’s “B” 4x400 meter relay team.
High School: Moore was a 4–year All–South Bay League honoree and 2–time team captain at San Ysidro High School in San Diego County…was a CIF State Championship qualifier in 2014…PRs include 1:05.0 in the 400 meters and 2:29.0 in the 800 meters…also was team captain of the SYHS soccer team, helping the Cougars to four SBL titles while earning all–league honors four times.
Personal: Moore is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB…career goals include grad school and working in sports physio therapy…was salutatorian at SYHS with a 4.68 GPA…works as a soccer referee and at the Monterey Public Library…mother is Dee Moore.
