Biography
2025 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Competed in six cross country meets during the 2025 season.
- Opened the year with a 16th-place finish at the Biola Invitational, covering the 5K course in 18:43.8.
- Posted a season-best 5K time of 18:21.4 at the 44th Annual UCR XC Invite, finishing 20th.
- Recorded a 21st-place finish at the Pomona-Pitzer XC Invite with a 6K time of 22:31.4.
- Posted a season-best 6K time of 21:59.9 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, finishing 55th.
- Placed 46th at the CCAA Cross Country Championships after running 23:40.0 in the 6K.
- Competed at the NCAA Division II West Region Cross Country Championships, posting a 6K time of 22:35.2 for 106th place.
2024 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Participated in all six meets
- Set PR in 5K with a time of 19:14.5 at the Stump Invitational
- Set PR in 6K with a time of 23:09.0 at the Cougar Challenge
- Had best finish of the season (31st) at the CCAA Conference Championship Preview
- Finished 54th at the CCAA Women’s Cross Country Championship with a time of 24:06.5
- Ran a time of 24:16.3 and finished 57th at the San Francisco State Invitational
- Finished 157th at the NCAA Women’s Cross Country West Regional with a time of 24:44.

- Attended Aptos High School.
- Ran for Coach Daniel Gruber.
- Helped lead the Mariners to league titles all four years.
- Earned scholar-athlete accolades all four years.
- Garnered MVP honors for every year she competed at her respective grade.
PERSONAL
- Daughter of Thomas and April Austin Hoops.
- Plans to major in kinesiology.
- Upon graduation, she plans to attend the Vluggen Institute of Equine Osteopathy complete my degree there to become a certified equine osteopath.
- Enjoys horseback riding.
