Biography

2013 – Cal State Monterey Bay: One of CSUMB’s talented triumvirate in 2013, Yeaman kicked off her junior campaign with her first collegiate race win, taking the title at the Crystal Springs Invitational on the Crystal Springs 6K course (Sept. 7)…ran what was the first of three PRs for her in 2013 with a 23:24.00…PRed again at ^K with a 22:54.00 in the invitational section of the Bronco Invitational at Baylands Park (Oct. 19)…tossed in a 5K PR by running the Hornet Jamboree at Granite Regional Park in 18:48.60.

2012 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Jennie Yeaman highlighted her sophomore campaign with a an 18:52.8 and a 27th place finish at the Bronco Invitational and Baylands Parks 5K course (Oct. 13)…season–best 6K time was a 24:14.0 on the challenging UC San Diego course (Oct. 6).

2011 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Yeaman recorded her best time at the CCAA Championships at Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa, posting a 23:30 in the 6K.

High School: Yeaman was a four–year letter winner from Mission Hills High School in North San Diego County…was named the school’s athlete of the year as a freshman…most improved honors in 2009…received the coaches award as a senior…in track she competed in the 5K with a personal best of 19:15…ran the 800 setting a personal best record time of 2:18…also competed in track & field and soccer.

Personal: Yeaman is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB…career plan is to be a nutritionist and sports dietician…daughter of Scott and Jill Yeaman…has a younger sister, Melissa.
