Biography
2014 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Anna Henning enjoyed a strong freshman season in both cross country and track…missed the first meet of 2014 but ran in the top five in the final six…season best and PR was a 23:41.50 at the Bronco Invitational on the Baylands Park 6K course (Oct. 18)…best finish of the season was 60th at the UCSD Triton Invitational (Oct. 25)…ran the top three 800 times during track season, including the CSUMB standard of 2:19.34 at the East Bay Legacy Meet (Apr. 18)…also owns CSUMB’s fastest 400 time, a 1:02.56 at the Johnny Mathis Invitational (Mar. 21).
High School: Henning joined the Otter cross country squad after making her name as a soccer player at Vista Murrieta High School where she lettered three times for the Broncos…was the soccer team captain as a senior.
Personal: Henning is majoring in environmental studies at CSUMB…plans a career in the Peace Corps…parents are Martha and Bryan Henning…mother ran track at Southwestern College.
