2022-23 – Cal State Monterey Bay

Finished five of six cross country races for the Otters.
Set a 6K PR of 22:47.2 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational at Baylands Park (Oct. 15).
Scored in four of five finished cross-country races.
Twice cracked the top-10.
Top finish was sixth out of 38 runners at the Otter Invitational at Palo Corona Regional Park (Sep. 17).
Ran as the Otters choice in the steeplechase.
Ran the fifth fastest 3000m steeple of 11:16.98 in program history, winning the event at the Johnny Mathis Invitational (Apr. 15).
Also won the 3000m steeple at the Mustang Invitational (Apr. 21).
Ran for the Otters 4x400m relay team that won the event at the Mustang Invitational (Apr. 21).
Placed third in the 3000m steeple at the CCAA Championships (May 5).
Won the 2000m steeple at the Cal Poly Open (Mar. 3).
PRd in the 1500m with a time of 4:59.92 at the Mike Fanelli Classic (Apr. 1)

2021-22 – Cal State Monterey Bay

Missed the season opener but competed in CSUMB’s final four races.
Ran her 6K PR of 23:00.9 at the CCAA Championship Meet on the CSUSM Campus Course (Oct. 23).
Top finish was 48th at the CCAA Championship Meet (Oct. 23).
Best finish was 63rd (of 139) at the Cougar Challenge on the CSUSM Campus Course (Sept. 25).
Ran CSUMB’s third fastest steeplechase with an 11:21.24 at the CCAA Championship Meet (May 7).

High School

A second team All–Mountain Valley Conference picks as a senior in 2019.
Named South Salem High’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 2016.
Helped the Saxons place 10th at the Oregon State Championship Meet in 2018.
Ran her 5K PR of 19:28.1 at the Mountain Valley Conference Championship meet on the Bush Park Course (Nov. 2, 2019).
Her 3K PR of 11:22.0 came at the Battle of the South on the Bush Park Course (Oct. 23, 2019).
On the track, her 800m PR of 2:32.74 came at the Stayton Twilight Meet (Apr. 26, 2019).
Her 1,500m PR of 5:23.29 came in a dual with West Salem High (Apr. 24, 2019).

Personal

Is majoring in marine science.
Plans to pursue a Ph.D. in marine biology.
Hopes to work in marine conservation.
Come from an athletic family: Mother Jody Caprino ran track at Cal State Fullerton; father Patrick Caprino swam at Cal Poly SLO; sister Megan Rollins played softball at Queens University (N.C.).
