Biography
High School: Earned the Most Improved Runner and the Triple–A Award while competing at Paraclete High School…posted a pair of Top 20 finishes in 6 races as a senior…Paraclete won the GCL title all four years she attended…best finish as a senior was 17th place at the Gold Coast League Finals…set her 5K PR of 21:40.0 on the Woodward Park course in the Asics/Clovis West Invitational as a junior in 2016…3–mile PR of 19:59.1 also came during her junior season…specialized in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter races for the PHS track team…PRs are 5:52.72 in the 1,600 and 12:51.27 in the 3,200.
Personal: Will major in Kinesiology at CSUMB…has been a Girl Scout since first grade and earned the prestigious Gold Award, the highest award available in the Girl Scouts (often compared to Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts)…parents are David and Lisa Marin.
