Biography
2015-16 Cal State Monterey Bay: Fernanda Aguilar jumped right into the fray as a freshman, competing in six of the seven Otter races…ran a 5K PR of 20:47.20 to open the season at the UC Riverside Invitational on the UCR Ag Ops course (Sept. 12)…her 6K PR of 23:31.60 came on the Baylands Park course at the Bronco Invitational (Oct. 17)…top finish was 12th at the Sonoma State Invitational (Oct. 3).
High School: Aguilar came to CSUMB as a champion after winning the South Yosemite League individual title for Ridgeview High School…navigated the Hart Park 3–mile course in 18:51.62…named team MVP and was a second team all–area selection by the Bakersfield Californian…as a track athlete she broke the Wolf Pack school record in the 1,600 with a 5:16.
Personal: Aguilar is majoring in psychology at CSUMB…career goal is to become a neonatal nurse…lists drawing amongst her hobbies…parents are Ernesto and Celia Aguilar.
