Scott Daffern joined the Cal State Monterey Bay athletic training staff as a full-time assistant on March 1st 2013.
Prior to coming to CSUMB, Daffern was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Humboldt State University where he completed his Masters of Science degree with an emphasis in exercise science in the spring of 2013. He was responsible for men’s soccer and basketball while assisting with the football team as well as HSU’s 9 other NCAA Collegiate Sports.
While completing his Bachelors of Science degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training, Daffern was the founding president of HSU’s Kinesiology Club and presented at the Far West Athletic Training Conference on Fire Cupping.
Born and raised on the Central Coast in San Luis Obispo County, Daffern now resides in Marina with his wife Ashley.
