2012 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Stacey Campos saw extensive action as CSUMB’s primary pinch runner in 2012…scored a run in her first appearance, helping the Otters defeat Western Washington (Feb. 4)…had a run scored and a sacrifice while handling four chances cleanly in her first collegiate start: a win over Cal State San Bernardino (Feb. 24).

PORTERVILLE COLLEGE
Campos was an All–Central Valley Conference pick after hitting .361 as a sophomore at Porterville College in 2011…recorded double digit stolen bases both season with the Pirates, finishing second in the CVC with 11 as a freshman in 2010.

HIGH SCHOOL
Campos prepped at Granite Hills High School in Porterville where she twice earned All–East Yosemite League honors for the Grizzlies…led GHHS with a .452 average and eight doubles…was the Grizzlies’ team captain in 2009…also earned All–EYL honors as a soccer defender and lettered in volleyball…named the GHHS Athlete of the Year for 2008–09…played travel ball with the Clovis Rockets, Fresno Force and Fresno Krush.

PERSONAL
Campos is majoring in psychology…plans to also earn a degree in deaf education and continue on to graduate school…knows American Sign Language…sister Rosalinda played softball at NAIA member the University of Science and Arts–Oklahoma…earned an Academic Scholar–Athlete award at Porterville College…parents are Tony and Sylvia Campos.
