2011 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Kylie Linnane jumped right into the starting rotation as a freshman in 2011, fashioning a 7–8 record while making 19 starts in her 20 appearances…led the Otters with 85 strikeouts in 113 2/3 innings…tossed a shutout  in her first collegiate appearance, blanking Grand Canyon 5–0 while fanning seven Antelopes (Feb. 4)…other shutout was a two–hit, nine–strikeout performance against Cal State Stanislaus (Mar. 28)…recorded a pair of three–hit victories against San Francisco State (Mar. 12) and Western Washington (Mar. 29).
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Linnane prepped at Notre Dame High School in Salinas where she was a three–time, first team All–Tri-County Athletic League pick for the Spirits…went 10–3 with nine complete games, three shutouts, a 0.68 ERA and a .119 opponent average to lead the staff…fanned 121 batters in 82 1/3 innings as a senior…TCAL Pitcher of the Year as a senior…all–area pick by both the Monterey Herald and the Salinas Californian as a junior and senior…medium school first team all–state by Cal–Hi Sports in 2008…also lettered in basketball at Notre Dame…played travel ball with the O.C. Batbusters, Salinas Valley Wildcats and the San Jose Strikkers.
 
PERSONAL
Linnane  is majoring in human communications…career goal is to work for ESPN…parents are Kevin and Patti Linnane…brother Ryan was a professional inline roller hockey player who played for the U.S. U21 National Team.
