Earned All–Mt. Hamilton League honors as a senior at Sobrato High School.
Also a 2015 and 2016 honorable mention all–area pick by the San Jose Mercury News.
A 4–year varsity letterwinner.
Helped SHS win Mt. Hamilton League titles in 2013 and 2015.
Hit .341 with 7 2Bs as a senior in 2016.
Hit .470 with 4 2Bs and 2 3Bs as a junior in 2015.
Hit .324 with 5 2Bs and 1 3B as a sophomore in 2014
Hit .390 with 7 2Bs and 1 3B as a freshman in 2013.
Played travel ball with the San Jose Sting.

PERSONAL

Is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB.
Won the 2016 South San Jose Fastpitch Softball Alumni Scholarship.
A 4–year honor roll member at SHS.
Parents are Debbie and Paul Rooney.
Mother Debbie (then Huntze) played softball at Chico State and is the head SB coach at San Jose City College.
Lists playing the ukulele and singing opera amongst her hobbies.
