2011 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Danielle Onken made a splash in her first Otter season, starting 38 games…got a hit in her first collegiate at bat—a single in a win over Grand Canyon (Feb. 4)…tied the CSUMB record with five hits in win at Humboldt State (Apr. 12)… that was the fifth of her five multi–hit games…twice equaled the school record by being hit by a pitch two times in one game (at SFSU Mar. 11; at Cal State East Bay Feb. 26) as part of her school–record nine HBP in 2011…hit her first two home runs in back–to–back games at Humboldt State (Apr. 11–12).
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Onken hit .364 as a junior at Oakdale High School in 2009, leading the Mustangs with four triples and  24 RBIs…led Oakdale to the Valley Oak League title in 2009…also lettered in volleyball…played travel ball with the Running Rebels Gold team in 2009 and 2010.
 
PERSONAL
Onken is majoring in liberal studies…lists playing pingpong among her hobbies…parents are John and Cindy Onken.
