2014 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Danica Arterburn appeared as a left fielder almost exclusively as a junior, making 59 starts there in 2014…set career highs in virtually every offensive category, including hitting .325 (.412 OBP) in 114 ABs…25 runs and 16 RBIs also marked career highs…hit her first collegiate HR at Cal State Dominguez Hills (Apr. 18)…reached base safely in 10 consecutive games from Mar. 8–28…made two appearances in the circle as a junior…earned her first collegiate save with 3.2 scoreless innings in a win over Academy of Art (Mar. 2)…also threw a scoreless inning of relief in a win over Holy Names (Mar. 10).

2013 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Arterburn continued to make contributions as both a hitter an pitcher as a sophomore…made 20 starts, including 16 in leftfield…finished the season hitting .197 with three extra base hits…made four starts in the circle and posted a 2–1 record…allowed just one unearned run and fanned a season–high five in a complete–game win over Holy Names University (Feb. 11)…toured with American International Sports Teams (AIST) in Italy over the summer, playing with Otter teammate Cori Reinhardt and Head Coach Andrea Kenney.

2012 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Arterburn flashed good potential as both a hitter and pitcher during her first collegiate season…in the circle, she won her first collegiate start with a 6–4 victory at Cal State Stanislaus (Apr. 7)…fanned a season–high seven in 5 2/3 innings of relief in a win over Chico State (Apr. 18)…finished the season with 21 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings…saw most of her action in the batter’s box as a pinch hitter and designated player…first two collegiate hits came in a win at Cal State Stanislaus (Apr. 6)…doubled in back–to–back victories over San Francisco State (Apr. 14) and Chico State (Apr. 18).

HIGH SCHOOL
Arterburn led Spanish Springs High School to a pair of Nevada state titles…also led the Cougars to three All–High Desert League titles…first team All–State and HDL pitcher of the year in 2011…ESPN Rise West Coast Player of the Week for Mar. 22, 2011  after winning complete game one–hitter, three–hitter and five hitters, allowing no earned runs and fanning 25 in 19 innings…finished 24–4 in the circle as a senior with 208 strikeouts in 151 innings…at the plate, she hit an even .400 with 27 runs and eight extra base hits…went 9–0 with a 0.14 ERA as a junior…hit .391 with 26 RBIs and 14 extra base hits that season…was 1–0 with two saves and a 0.57 ERA as a sophomore while hitting .303 in 34 games…also lettered in volleyball and basketball at Spanish Springs…played travel ball with the Nevada Comets, Lightning, Grapettes, Sorcerers and the NorCal Victory.

PERSONAL
Arterburn is majoring in collaborative health and human services…named to the CCAA All–Academic team for 2014…was a three–time, three–sport academic honors recipient in high school…parents are Joe and Kelly Arterburn.
