HIGH SCHOOL
Brittani Newman should add some pop to the Otter lineup after leading San Benito High School to for consecutive CIF Central Coast Section Division I titles…led the Haybalers with seven home runs and 32 runs scored as a senior in 2013…also led the Haybalers with five triples…was San Benito’s defensive player of the year in 2012 and offensive player of the year in 2013…was a two–time All–Gabilan League selection…also played basketball and volleyball as a prep athlete…earned the SBHS coachable award and most improved award in basketball…played travel ball with the San Jose Sharks, the San Jose Sting and Monterey CCA.

PERSONAL
Newman is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB…career goals are to work in physical therapy and nutrition…enjoys wakeboard, snowboarding and riding quads in her free time…parents are Brian and Rhonda Newman.
