ANTELOPE VALLEY COLLEGE
After leading Antelope Valley College and the Foothill Conference by hitting 12 home runs as a sophomore in 2013…also led AVC and finished seventh in the Foothill Conference with a .403 average in 2013…led the conference in runs (45) and finished second in RBIs (43)…was a two–time first team All–Foothill League pick…named the Marauders’ defensive MVP as a freshman and both offensive and defensive MVP as a sophomore…finished her AVC career with 22 home runs, good for No. 3 all–time in the Marauder record books.

HIGH SCHOOL
Farinas prepped at Tehachapi High School where she was a four–time All–South Sequoia League pick for the Warriors…was team MVP as a freshman and senior…named the THS defensive player of the year as a sophomore and offensive player of the year as a junior…hit .413 with 11 doubles and a team–high nine home runs as a senior…also lettered in volleyball (in which she was a two–time All–SSL pick) and basketball (in which she was a three–time winner of the Warriors coaches award)…played travel ball with the Tehachapi Bad Apples, So Cal Stealth and So Cal Xplosion.

PERSONAL
Farinas is majoring in kinesiology and hopes to pursue a career in sports medicine…earned her A.A. from Antelope Valley College…parents are Benny and Bernadette Farinas.
