2012 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Angelina Orozco enjoyed her most prolific collegiate season as a junior, earning second team All–CCAA honors and a berth on the CCAA Championship All–Tournament team…set CSUMB records for at bats (210), runs scored (58) and triples (9) in 2012…the latter number ranked No. 3 nationally…enters the 2013 season as the CSUMB career leader with 15 triples…ranks No. 2 with 105 runs scored (needs 49 to catch Jamie Moon’s record of 154…hit a pair of triples and matched her career high with four runs in a win over Humboldt State (Mar. 11)…had 17 multi–hit games…hit .378 over a season–best six–game hitting streak (Mar. 10–16)

2011 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
One of four Otters to start all 51 games, Orozco hit .260 while leading the Otters with 181 at bats and 11 stolen bases as a sophomore…led the CCAA with four triples…made 37 starts in the outfield and 14 at second base…posted 12 multi–hit games and six–multi RBI games…hit her first collegiate home run in a win over Cal State Stanislaus (Mar. 28)…added her second 12 days later in a win over Sonoma State (Apr. 9)…hit .333 (8-for-24) over a season best seven–game hitting streak (Mar. 11–28).

2010 – CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
Orozco saw extensive playing time as a freshman in 2010, making 46 appearance and 38 starts…finished second on the team with a .323 batting average and shared the team lead with six stolen bases…hit .389 (14-for-36) over a season best nine–game hitting streak from Apr. 10–24…had 10 multi–hit games as a freshman…first collegiate hit came in her first collegiate at bat versus Grand Canyon (Feb. 5)

HIGH SCHOOL
Orozco was a four–year letter winner at Clovis East High School…hit .384 with 13 extra base hits as a senior…posted a 16–game hitting streak as a senior…hit .414 as a junior with a team–leading 36 runs…two time first team All–Tri Rivers Athletic Conference selection and a Fresno Bee All–Area pick…also played volleyball and soccer at Clovis East and was an All–TRAC selection in volleyball…played travel ball with several teams, advancing the ASA Nationals with the Clovis Rockets U14 in 2005 and the Fresno Force U14 in 2006.

PERSONAL
Orozco is majoring in kinesiology with an eye towards a career in nursing or physical therapy…earned a variety of academic honors in high school, including the President’s Medal, induction in the National Honor Society and the California Scholarship Society (lifetime member)…principal’s honor roll as a freshman and sophomore and high honor roll member as a junior and senior…Character Counts Award recipient as a freshman and sophomore…parents are Ben and Cathy Orozco…father played football at Fresno City and Reedley College.
