High School: A four–year varsity letterwinner at San Jose’s Bellarmine Prep, which advanced to the 2013 CIF Central Coast Section Division I semifinals…2013 Bellarmine defensive player of the year…helped lead the Bells to the West Coast Athletic League title and the CCS Championship as a sophomore in 2011…found great success playing club soccer with Santa Clara Sporting 94 and DeAnza Force, reaching the CYSA State Cup finals three consecutive years and winning the championship in 2013.

Personal: Son of Chris and Jacki Sorg…sister Stephanie plays soccer at Santa Clara University…father Chris was a standout defender at San Jose State and later played for the San Jose Earthquakes….will major in kinesiology at CSUMB…plans to pursue at doctorate in physical therapy…career goal is to train and condition high level athletes and coach soccer.
