As a Redshirt Junior in 2012: Had teams highs of three goals and seven points…his nine shots on frame ranked No. 2 on the team and top all 2013 returners…enters the season ranked No. 5 in Otter history in goals scored (7) and No. 9 in total points (17)...member of the Monterey Bay Soccer League President's Cup championship team. 

As a Redshirt Sohpomore in 2011: Earned honorable mention All–CCAA recognition after scoring four goals, two assists and 10 points…recorded his first three–point game with a goal and an assist in a win over Chico State (9/23)…notched two match–winners, including a golden goal in a 1–0 win at Cal State San Bernardino (10/2)…led CSUMB with 25 shots and 10 shots on goal.

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2010 at Allan Hancock College: Earned All–Western State Conference honors in his lone season at Allan Hancock College…finished among the top scorers in California with seven goals, 12 assists and 26 points as a freshman…notched an assists in his first collegiate appearance, a 5–2 win over Fresno City College (9/4)…had an incredible five–assist match in a 7–3 win over West Hills College (9/11)…first collegiate goal came in a 6–0 win at Glendale College (9/28).

As a Freshman in 2009 at Cal State L.A.: Redshirted

High School: Racked up 50 goals, 14 assists and 114 points over his final two prep seasons…was the Pac–7 League MVP and an All–CIF Southern Section Division V pick as a senior in 2009, when he scored 26 goals with seven assists for 59 points…the 26 goals set the RHS single–season record…named 2009 prep athlete of the year by the North Santa Barbara County Athletic Roundtable Hall of Fame…also was a standout cross country runner, earning All–Pac–7 honors three times.

Personal: Son of Jose Luis and Antonia Perez...majoring in business management…plans a career in accounting after graduation…is a native of Tlatlaya, Mexico.
