CSU Monterey Bay Athletics

As a Junior in 2013: Started in 16 of 18 games…ranked first on team in assists (5) and third in goals (4)…racked up three points (1g, 1a) in 5-3 win over visiting Humboldt State (9/13)…repeated the performance in the 3-3 tie at Sonoma State (10/11)…tallied two goals including the game winner at Humboldt State (10/13)…dished the ball to Alberto Anguiano to score the first of two goals against then No. 22 Chico State (11/3).

Oxnard College: Should add some scoring punch to the Otter attack after leading Oxnard College to the Western State Conference title in 2012…totaled 27 points with seven goals and an Oxnard record 13 assists as a sophomore to earn All–WSC first team honors…also named the Condors’ MVP for 2012…scored five goals and added one assist as a freshman...trained with the Ventura County Fusion PDL team during the summer of 2013. 

High School: Attended Oxnard High School but played soccer for only one season…played club soccer with Oxnard Waves (1998–2008) and Oxnard FC Premier (2008–09)…traveled Europe with the Waves U15 team and played against several academy teams including Juventus…helped lead Oxnard Premier to the 2008 Coast Soccer League Cup.

Personal: Son of Javier Madrigal and Diana Felix Madrigal…plans to major in global studies at CSUMB…earned his associates degree in arts and humanities from Oxnard College…career plans include playing soccer professionally and owning a business…has been a youth soccer referee since 2009…lists working out and eating healthy amongst the things he enjoys.
