Fresno City College: Matias Fernandez joins the Otters after a solid sophomore season at Fresno City College in which he led the Central Valley Conference and finished eighth in California with 90 saves…finished second in the conference with a 1.14 goals against average…also led the conference and finished 14^th in California with four shutouts…earned All–CVC honors while leading the Rams to the 2014 CVC title.

High School: Helped lead Bullard to the County/Metro League title and a runner–up finish in the CIF Central Section Division I tournament…recorded two shutouts as a senior…played for four club programs, most recently with the Fresno Fuego…goalkeeper of the year with the Bullard United FC.

Personal: Will major in business at CSUMB…studied business and culinary arts at Fresno CC, where he was a member of the honor roll…is a native of Pomona…parents are Oscar and Adriana Fernandez.
