CSU Monterey Bay Athletics

As a Junior in 2012: Started all 15 matches as a junior…made his first goal a memorable one, scoring with one second on the clock in overtime to hand Cal State San Bernardino a 1–0 defeat (10/26)…his 15 shots were fourth on the team and third among returning players...played for the Springfield Demize (PDL) during the summer break. 

At Fresno City College: Led the Rams to a pair of California State JC playoff appearances and a pair Central Valley Conference title…was a two–time All–CVC pick.

High School: Earned the Grizzlies’ Coaches Award after scoring five goals with five assists as a senior in 2009…helped lead Central to its first Tri–Rivers Athletic League title and first CIF Central Section tournament appearance in school history…helped his Malibu FC team earn a top five national ranking.

Personal: Son of Jesus and Sonia Montellano...major in kinesiology…earned his A.A. from Fresno City College...plans on applying for the U.S. Marshal Academy or pursue a master's degree after graduating from CSUMB.
