CABRILLO COLLEGE
  • Started all 17 of his appearances as a sophomore in 2016.
  • Lone goals as a sophomore came in a win over MPC (Oct. 28, 2016).
  • Part–time starter as a freshman in 2015.
  • 1st collegiate goal came at Evergreen Valley (Oct. 16, 2015).
HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL
  • A 2–time All–Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League (2014 and 2015).
  • Helped lead the Pirates to the 2013 SCCAL Championship.
  • Played club with the Santa Cruz Breakers Academy.
PERSONAL
  • Is majoring in kinesiology with a minor in business at CSUMB.
  • Earned the State Seal of Biliteracy Diploma in high school.
  • Enjoys playing foot volley at the beach and video games in his spare time.
  • Parents are Rogelio Mata and Eva Mendoza.
