CSU Monterey Bay Athletics

As a Freshman in 2013: Appeared in 12 games, starting in the final 10…took a shot on goal in the 2-1 victory over Cal State San Bernardino (10/6)…competed for the Carlsbad Elite U-19 …made it to the National Cup quarterfinals…also played for the PSC/Carlsbad United U-23 team as starting center back.

High School: Led the Mavericks from the No. 6 seed to the CIF San Diego Section Division II title in 2013 en route to a No. 31 national ranking…scored the golden goal that led LCCHS to victory in the Southern California Regional Quarterfinals over Warren High School (March 5, 2013)…named All–CIF San Diego Section first team, all–league first team and team MVP as a senior…also led LCCHS to the Avocado West League crown as a precursor to the 2012 CIF section championship…named defensive MVP of the 2013 Southern California Soccer Showcase…named the Mavericks’ defensive MVP in 2011 and offensive MVP in 2012…two–time team captain…played club soccer with San Diego Surf (2010–11) and Carlsbad Elite (2012–13), where his side was the Western Collegiate Development Academy national runner–up in 2012 and the Far West Regional League runner–up in 2013.

Personal: Son of Bob and Kirsten Ramsey…plans to major in kinesiology at CSUMB with an eye towards a career teaching, coaching and working in sports medicine…a San Diego Section All–Academic team member in 2012 and 2013…works as a soccer referee and as coach of a junior high team.
