Biography
As a Junior in 2014-15: Sunk a 70 foot putt for eagle on the final hole of the 2015 NCAA West/South Central Regional to earn a share of the title... the Regional win was his only first place finish of the season... ranked in the Top 10 six times, and in the Top 5 four times... shot his season low round of 67 in the medal match play of the CCAA Tournament... posted an average score of 74.34.
As a Sophomore in 2013-14: Member of the PING All–West Region team...played in eight events, including the NCAA Div. II National Championship... tied for 2nd was his best finish of the season (64th SoCal Intercollegiate Tournament)... posted a low score of 217 (+2) at the Mustang Intercollegiate... recorded a 24 round average score of 74.7
As a Freshman in 2012-13: Played in two tournaments…posted a 77.6 stroke average over nine rounds…shot a career-low 73 to open and close the InterWest Insurance Wildcat (10/9-10) and finished with a 225.
High School: Three-time All-Pacific Conference first team selection…participated in the 2009 Oregon Golf Association (OGA) Tournament of Champions…competed in the 2010 Hogan Cup.
Personal: Son of Mark and Jill Richards…went on a mission trip to Nicaragua…member of Future Business Leaders of American (FBLA).
