- Finished 7th at the NCJAA Region XXIV Championship Tournament as a sophomore in 2019.
- Finished 11th at the NJCAA Region XXIV Tournament as freshman in 2018.
- Led the Warriors to a pair of NJCAA National Championship tournament berths.
High School
- Led Hamilton County to multiple Black Diamond League titles.
- Was a 4–time All–Black Diamond League selection.
- A 3–time Illinois State Championship qualifier.
- Regional medalist in 2016.
- Sectional runner–up in 2017.
- 2–time HCHS Team MVP.
- Also played basketball as a prep athlete.

- Is a special education major at CSUMB.
- A National Honor Society member.
- Graduated high school with high honors.
- Is a native of Phoenix, Ariz.
- Parents are Brian and Mitzi Neal.
- Brian played baseball collegiately at Eastern Illinois.
