Biography
High School
- Named first team All-West Alameda County Conference as a senior in 2025.
- Named first team All-Tri-County Athletic League after finishing third in the TCAL as a sophomore in 2023.
- Also earned All-TCAL honors as a freshman and junior.
- Eafrned a Top 40 finish in the 2025 Cal State Junior Amateur.
- Finished in the Top 10 in 15 of 17 amateur events from Nov. 2023 on (and never lower than 13th).
- A 3-time member of the North/South Cup team, leading the North to the title in 2023.
- Also play basketball as a prep athlete.
Personal
- Is majoring in business administration.
- A member of the President’s List at BHS.
- Lists playing basketball and watching the Warriors amongst his hobbies.
- Parents are Nikki Van Ausdall and John Canny.
