Biography
2024 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Participated in two meets
- Ran fastest time of season with a 27:50.8 time at the Cougar Challenge
- Had best finish of season finishing 70th with a time of 28:22.8 at San Francisco State Invitational
2023 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Ran in five meets during his freshman season.
- Clocked his fastest 8k at the Cougar Challenge where he crossed the line at 26:52.9 (Sep. 23).
- Opened his season with a 6k time of 20:30.4 at the Big West Preview (Sep. 1).
- Capped off his freshman campaign with a time of 27:51 on the 8k course at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 21).
High School:
- Ran both cross-country and track all four years at Santa Cruz HS.
- Captained Santa Cruz for two years.
- Placed eighth out of 41 in Santa Cruz County (Nov. 4, 2021) and 10th out of 97 in the Central Coast Section DIII (Nov. 13, 2021), qualifying for the State Championships in Cross Country as a junior.
- Ran his 5K PR of 17:26.4 at the DIII State Championships at Woodward Park (Nov. 27, 2021).
- Helped Santa Cruz HS to a CIF – Central Coast Section DIII Title in 2022, the first in program history.
- Ran the 400m, 800m, mile and two-mile on the track.
- Won the 800m at the Pacific Grove Rotary Invitational (Apr. 2, 2022).
- Both his 400m and two-mile PRs of 57.06 and 10:47.17 came in a dual meet with Harbor HS (Apr. 11, 2023).
- Mile PR was 4:46.89 (Apr. 19, 2023).
- 800m PR was 2:04.58 (Apr. 27, 2023).
- Also competed in basketball as a freshman.
Personal
- Is majoring in kinesiology at CSUMB.
- Plans to pursue a master’s degree in athletic training upon graduation.
- Parents are Rachel and Todd Trowbridge.
