2013 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Toby Uptain–Villa raced five times as an Otter junior…PRed with a 28:47.60 at the Bronco Invitational on the Baylands Park 8K course (Oct. 19)…best finish was 21st at the season–opening Crystal Springs Invitational.
2012 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Toby Uptain–Villa raced in all six Otter meets as a junior…posted his season best 8K time of 28:47.9 on the Baylands Park Course at the Bronco Invitational (Oct. 13)…only 6K time of the season was a 22:40.2 at the Hornet Jamboree’s Granite Regional Park course (Sept. 8).
High School: Uptain–Villa was a four–year letterwinner for the Golden Eagles of Del Oro High School under head coach Kevin Ostenberg.
Personal: Uptain–Villa is majoring in human communications at CSUMB…son of Joe and Cindy Uptain–Villa…has an older brother, Sam…was named Del Oro High School "Boy of the Year" for the class of 2010.
