Biography
2016 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Nathan Rossi ran in three meets as a junior…best time was a 28:08.70 on the Baylands Park course at the Bronco Invitational (Oct. 15)…best finish as 8th place at the Golden Gate Park Invitational (Oct. 9)…started by did not finish at the CCAA Championship Meet.
2015 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Rossi ran virtually identical times in his two Otter races as a junior…finished 57th at the UC Riverside Invitational with a 27:42.40 on the UCR Ag Ops course to open the season (Sept. 12)…came back to run 27:42.80 two weeks later at the Stanford Invitational (Sept. 26).
American River College: Rossi ran for Coach Rick Anderson at American River College, helping the Beavers win the state title in 2013…best 4–mile time was 20:15.2 at the 2013 Big 8 Conference Championship…ran a 26:55.9 8K at the 2013 USF Cross Country Invitational…was second team All–Big 8 as a sophomore…ran with fellow Otter newcomer Jason Morris at ARC.
High School: Rossi competed at Placerville’s El Dorado High School…qualified for the CIF State Cross Country Championship meet as both a junior and a senior.
Personal: Rossi is majoring in business administration with a concentration in management at CSUMB…earned his AA in social sciences from ARC…answers to the nickname “Natedog”…parents are Alan and Cyndy Rossi.
