2016 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Marc Rodriguez ran in four races plus the CCAA Championship Meet as a sophomore…posted his best finish (64th) in the season–opening CCAA Preview on the Guasti Regional Park course (Sept. 2)…PRed one week later by running a 28:29.84 8K over the Patrick’s Point State Park course during the Humboldt State Invitational (Sept. 10).
2015 – Cal State Monterey Bay: Rodriguez dipped his toes in the collegiate waters by racing in four meets as an Otter freshman…best time was 28:38.10 at the Gator Invitational in Golden Gate Park (Oct. 9)…top finish was 19th at the Sonoma State Invitational (Oct. 3).
High School: Rodriguez came to CSUMB after running in the No. 1 spot for Moore League power Long Beach Wilson…ran a 16:05.00 3–mile at Woodbridge in Costa Mesa…earned All–Moore League honors in cross country…also earned several team awards with the Bruins including Most Improved and Coaches Award…was a strong track competitor at several distances, with PRs of 2:02 in the 800 at the Arcadia Invitational in 2015, 4:33 in the 1,600 at the 2015 Moore League Championship, and 10:08.06 in the 3,200.
