Biography
2018 – Cal State Monterey Bay:
- Ran in every meet for the Otters as a true freshman.
- PRed at the 8K distance with a 26:40.20 at the CCAA Championship Meet (Nov. 3).
- PRed at the 10K distance with a 34:25.11 at the NCAA West Region Championship Meet (Nov. 17).
High School:
- Cross country MVP as a senior at Millikan High School in 2017.
- Also MHS track Most Outstanding Distance Runner.
- Finished eighth at the Moore League Championship.
- Also Millikan’s top finisher at the CIF Southern Section Div. I meet by placing 44thoverall.
- Ran his 3–mile PR of 15:29.2 as a senior at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic on the Silverlake Sports Park course in Norco (Sept. 16, 2017).
- Ran his 5K PR of 17:28.0 as a sophomore at the Apache Invitational on the Arcadia County Park course (Oct. 30, 2015).
- PRed in the 1,600 meters at the Moore League Finals with a 4:41.25 (May 4, 2018).
- 3,200 meter PR of 10:02.57 came at the California Relays (Mar. 17, 2018).
Personal:
- Is majoring in human communication at CSUMB.
- Plans to pursue a master’s degree in English.
- A member of the Principal’s Honor Roll in high school.
- Parents are Jennifer Trondle and David Swiatkowski.
