Biography
2023 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Competed in all six meets during his senior season.
- Top finish came at the Biola Invite when he placed 15th overall with an 8k time of 25:54.2 (Sep. 8).
- Ran a 26:25.5 in the 8k course at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 21).
- Posted a personal best 10k time of 32:04.8 at the NCAA West Regional (Nov. 4).
- Opened the season with a 6k time of 19:12.8 at the Big West Preview (Sep. 1).
2022 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Competed in five of six meets.
- Broke the 26-minute mark for the first time in his career with an 8K PR of 25:47.6 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational at Baylands Park (Oct. 15).
- Set a new 10K PR of 32:21.3, pacing the Otters at the NCAA DII West Regional Championships at Amend Park (Nov. 19).
- Top finish was sixth at the Otter Invitational at Palo Corona Regional Park (Sep. 17).
- Best finish was ninth out of 57 runners at the Coyote Challenge on the CSUSB Campus Course (Sep. 10).
- Scored in every race for the Otters.
2021 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Ran in all five meets.
- Was CSUMB’s top finisher at the NCAA West Regional (98th), a split second ahead of teammate Jaime Gonzalez (Nov. 6)
- Ran a season–best 26:27.6 at the Bronco Invitational on the Baylands Park Course (Oct. 16).
- Ran a 10K PR of 33:24.7 at the NCAA West Regional on the Ash Creek Preserve Course (Nov. 6).
2019 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Ran in all seven meets as a true freshman.
- Best 8K time was a 26:02.98 at the Coyote Challenge on the CSUSB Campus Course (Sept. 21).
- Best 10K time was a 34:57.5 at the NCAA Division II West Regional on the Ash Creek Preserve Course (Nov. 9).
- Best finish was 25th (of 56) at the Lumberjack Invitational (Sept. 6).
High School:
- Cross country team MVP as a senior in 2018.
- Also earned the coaches award at BHS.
- Advanced to the CIF Sac–Joaquin Division III Subsections as a senior.
- An All–Western Athletic Conference selection in both cross country and track for the Patriots.
- Ran his 3–mile PR of 17.24.0 in a dual meet with Davis High (Oct. 3, 2018).
- His 5K PR of 17:23.6 came at the Pacific Tiger Invitational (Sept. 22, 2018).
Personal
- Has not declared a major at CSUMB.
- Earned the California Seal of Biliteracy at BHS.
- Is a California Scholarship Federation Lifetime Member.
- Named to the WAC All–Academic Team as a prep athlete.
