Biography
2025 - CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY
- Competed in five cross country meets in his first season with the Otters.
- Opened the year with a 67th-place finish at the Biola Invitational, covering the 8K course in 26:28.3.
- Posted a season-best 8K time of 26:21.9 at the 44th Annual UCR XC Invite.
- Finished 76th at the Pomona-Pitzer XC Invite with an 8K time of 27:07.8.
- Recorded a time of 27:13.4 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational, finishing 93rd.
- Placed 52nd at the CCAA Cross Country Championships after running 26:54.2 in the 8K.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Aptos High School.
- Ran for coach Dan Gruber.
- Team captain for both XC and track.
- Helped lead the Mariners to the SCCAL League title every season.
- Placed third in CCS senior season.
PERSONAL
- Son of Robert and Ramona Pursley.
- Enjoys drawing, biking, listening to music and hanging with friends.
- Plans to major in communication design.
