Biography
2023 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Ran in all six meets in 2023.
- Opened the season with a 6k personal best of 19:45.9 at the Big West Preview (Sep. 1).
- Clocked his best 8k of the season at the Cougar Invitational with a time of 26:39.8 (Sep. 23).
- Completed the 8k course at the CCAA Championships in a time of 27:31.5 (Oct. 21).
- Capped off his season at the NCAA West Regional with a 10k time of 34:07.3 (Nov. 4).
2022 – Cal State Monterey Bay
- Ran in every race in his freshman season.
- 8K PR of 25:58.5 came at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational at Baylands Park (Oct. 15)
- Top and best finish was 12th out of 57 runners at the Coyote Challenge on the CSUSB Campus Course (Sep. 10).
- Scored in every race for the Otters.
High School
- A 2–time All–Coastal Mountain Conference honoree in cross country.
- Finished 15th at the CIF North Coast Section Division V Championship Meet.
- Just missed becoming the first Roseland University Prep harrier to qualify for the CIF State Championship Meet.
- Totaled six race wins as a cross country senior.
- Ran his 3–mile PR of 15:49.4 at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic on the Silverlakes Sports park Course (Sept. 18, 2021).
- Ran his 5K XC PR of 16:32.4 at the Asics Clovis Invitational on the Woodward Park Course (Oct. 9, 2021).
- On the track, Alexis broke seven RUP school records, including in the 5,000 (16:32) and 800 (2:14.0).
- Ran club with the Peninsula Flyers.
- Also played volleyball and badminton as a prep athlete.
Personal
- Is majoring in kinesiology.
- Career goals are to become an athletic trainer and teach at Roseland University Prep.
- Recognized on multiple high honor rolls as a high school student.
- Is a collector of Funko Pops and DC comics.
