Foothill College
Nikki Powell joins the Otter raft after helping the powerful Foothill College program to a Coast Conference title, the No. 1 seed in the California Junior College north bracket and a berth in the State Championship game…was named to the California Junior College State Championship All–Tournament team…led the state in field goal percentage at 60.4 percent in 2012…a first team All–Coast Conference selection in 2012…averaged 10.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game as a sophomore.

High School
Powell prepped at Eureka High School where she twice earned Humboldt–Del Norte Big 5 All–League honors…led the Loggers to a league runner–up finish and a berth in the CIF NorCal Section Division II Tournament as a senior and to a Division III Tournament bid as a junior…competed in track & field (long jump), soccer and golf…played travel ball with the Eureka Wildcats and the Nor–Cal Elite.

Personal
Powell is majoring in human communications at CSUMB…career goals are to become and EMT and a firefighter…father, Cliff, played football at Yuba College…parents are Cliff and Linda Powell.
